About this printout
This page prints Mini #369 (Sunday, October 4, 2026): a 5×5 grid with two black squares and ten clues, five Across and five Down. The site's navigation and footer are left off the printout, and so are these notes.
Solving on paper
Paper has no Check button, so write lightly where you're unsure. The shortest slot, 1-Across, has only four letters, so it's a good place to start. The shortest clue is 5-Across, “Colorful plastic building bricks”, at four words; the longest is 1-Across, “High-fiber part of a grain, found in some muffins”, at nine words. Clue types to watch for:
- Ends in a question mark: 4-Down, “Things you smell with?”
When you've finished, compare with the answer key for October 4, 2026, or open the hints if you get stuck. Prefer a screen? Play it online. The day before, Mini #368 (October 3, 2026), opens with 1-Across, “Phone programs, for short”.
