Why we built it

A quick daily crossword is a lovely ritual, but archives often disappear behind subscriptions. We wanted a place where the daily 5×5 and every past puzzle were free, with no popups or signup walls between you and the grid — so we built one.

About the studio

Minute Crossword is a small, independent studio. We publish a fresh 5×5 every day, keep the last 90 days in a free archive, and offer 6×6 and 7×7 variants for when the daily grid feels too short. The puzzles load fast, work on any device, and save your progress locally.
