Mini #345's ten answers fill 21 white squares, and every one of them is crossed, so each letter belongs to one Across and one Down answer. The longest answers are YIELD (6-Across), OUIJA (2-Down), OREOS (3-Down) and DALAI (4-Down), at five letters; the shortest are GAY (1-Down) and DNA (7-Down).

The grid uses thirteen different letters. The most common is A, in five squares, and 12 of the 21 squares hold a vowel (A, E, I, O or U). It includes J, one of the four letters (J, Q, X and Z) that turn up least often in English.
