About this printout

Solving on paper
Paper has no Check button, so write lightly where you're unsure. The shortest slot, 4-Down, has only three letters, so it's a good place to start. The shortest clue is 4-Down, “‘His’ counterpart”, at two words; the longest is 1-Across, “Tiny bit, or 1/12 of a foot”, at seven words. None of the ten clues is a fill-in-the-blank, a quotation, a question-mark clue or a marked short form.
