Mini #332's ten answers fill 21 white squares, and every one of them is crossed, so each letter belongs to one Across and one Down answer. The longest answers are INDEX (6-Across), LINER (1-Down), INDIA (2-Down) and SCENT (3-Down), at five letters; the shortest are TAX (4-Down) and IVF (6-Down).
The grid uses thirteen different letters. The most common is I, in four squares, and 8 of the 21 squares hold a vowel (A, E, I, O or U). It includes X, one of the four letters (J, Q, X and Z) that turn up least often in English.
